Global Entertainment IP Brand Expands to San Mateo with New Bay Area Location
Hillsdale Shopping Center is pleased to announce the grand opening of POP MART on Saturday, March 14. Known for its collectible designer toys and immersive retail experiences, POP MART continues its rapid expansion across North America with the new store opening at the popular San Mateo shopping destination.
Founded in 2010, POP MART has grown into a global force in entertainment, driven by its mission “to light up passion and bring joy.” The company develops original intellectual property and distinctive characters that come to life through collectible figures, retail experiences and entertainment collaborations.

The new Hillsdale location marks POP MART’s fifth store in the Bay Area. The brand operates 65+ brick-and-mortar stores and 130+ Robo Shops across the United States. POP MART also has more than 550 stores and over 2,500 Robo Shops across more than 20 countries and regions, reaching consumers in more than 90 markets through its e-commerce platforms.

Its growing roster includes beloved figures such as MOLLY, DIMOO, SKULLPANDA, THE MONSTERS and HIRONO, along with unique collaborations and special-edition releases that expand the brand’s growing universe of characters.
